'He's a wonderful father': Jennifer Lopez reveals her children's affection for stepdad Ben Affleck
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Jennifer Lopez is all praise for her husband Ben Affleck as she talks about his role as a stepdad to her two children. In an interview, the star said "Well, he's a wonderful, wonderful father. And a father figure to [Max and Emme] as well, because he has his own three beautiful children, and then there's us." She added, "He's fantastic. He really steps up to the challenge of what that is and what that means. And they love him. They love him. And they appreciate him, and so do I."
Lopez is mother to twins Max and Emme, 15, whom she shares with Marc Anthony, and Affleck has three of his own children Samuel, 11, Violet, 17, and Seraphina, 14, with ex Jennifer Garner. The actress shared with Hoda Kotb how she goes about parenting her teenage sons and closely watching them step into adulthood. "They're becoming adults. They're challenging everything in life. And these kids have so much information — so much more than we had — so they're thinking and talking about life in a different way than I did when I was 15 or 16 years old," Lopez explained.

'They're challenging and looking at everything'
On Kotb pointing that her generation, including Lopez "followed the rules" growing up, Lopez agreed, and added, "Yes! And they don't! They're challenging and looking at everything, which is great for our world. I feel like they're going to change the world, quite honestly. And make it so much better than we did.” Ben Affleck was recently spotted playing basketball with his son Samuel at a park in Los Angeles on April 22, as per People.
'She’s the most gorgeous woman'
He also praised JLO during an interview on Drew Barrymore's show via video chat, "Let me tell you something that’s gonna upset you. Jennifer just eats whatever she wants. Whatever she wants. She eats cookies, ice cream, everything." He further explained, "There’s no taking away of the work ethic, the work ethic is real, the discipline is real, but also the superhuman thing is real. She’s the most gorgeous woman in the world, she looks spectacular."
