ITZY ‘Not Shy’ English version: Release date, teaser, how to stream and all you need to know about K-pop group's comeback

Popular K-pop girl group ITZY is coming back with a brand new English version of their latest album ‘Not Shy’ on January 22. Here’s all you need to know about the album.

Before 2020 ended, JYP Entertainment took to Twitter to announce the Kpop supergroup’s new venture revealing teasers for the “Not Shy (English Ver.)” album which will also include the English editions of ‘WANNABE’, ‘ICY’ and ‘DALLA DALLA’. To make it even more interesting, the five-member K-pop group featuring Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong and Yuna will also participate in a countdown live at Naver NOW one hour before the release timing.

ITZY who debuted only in 2019 gained quite a lot of momentum right from the start, bagging the Rookie Award at the 34th Golden Disc Awards followed by Best New Female Artist at the 2019 Melon Music Awards and the 2019 Mnet Asian Music Awards. Recently, the ‘It’s Icy’ makers have also bagged the Best Performer tag at The Fact Music Awards.

Release date and time

The English version of ‘Not Shy’ dropped on January 22, 2 pm KST. Watch it here. 

Concept

‘Not Shy’ is a celebration of self-love with a number of pop-rock and hip hop tracks. The vintage concept photos of the album translate the theme of the album in a retro world where ITZY girls aren’t shying away from their profession and celebrating their love and interests.

The album can be live-streamed through all major music platforms including Apple Itunes, Spotify, YouTube and Melon.

ITZY fans are beyond excited for the album dropping as they dub the event as a start to ITZY world domination.
