POTOMAC, MARYLAND: The 'Real Housewives of Potomac' star Monique Samuels was rumored to join the cast of Peacock's 'The Traitors' Season 3. However, the Bravos show alum put the rumors to rest and claimed she was never approached to star in the upcoming season.
Monique took to her Instagram and shared a selfie while addressing the casting rumors. She explained in the caption, "Neither a traitor or a faithful 🥴." 'RHOP' alum added, "Sorry to disappoint but the rumors ARE NOT TRUE 🤣🤣🤣 WTF?! 😐 I love y’all though! And I do love that show!"
Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that the Peacock show producers considered Monique to star in the upcoming season but ultimately decided against it due to budget constraints. The reports also claimed that they couldn't 'afford' Monique this season, but she might be considered for the next season.

Peacock is yet to announce 'The Traitors' Season 3 official cast and release date. However, there have been speculations that 'RHOA' star Kenya Moore will star in the new season. These rumors intensified after she posted, and then deleted, a video on Instagram with the 'Traitors' logo clearly visible.
Additionally, 'Big Brother' alums Cody Calafiore, Rachel Reilly, Dan Gheesling, and Janelle Pierzina are also rumored to star in Season 3. Alan Cumming is expected to return to host the Peacock show.
Why did Monique Samuels leave 'RHOP'?
Monique Samuels was rumored to have been fired from the Bravo show 'RHOP.' However, during an episode of the 'Two T's in a Pod' podcast, Monique clarified that she had decided to leave the show long before her altercation with Candiace became public. Monique recalled her conversation with Bravo's team and shared, "When I talked to the executives right after that fight happened, the next day, I told them I am done."
The Bravo show alum added, "I am not here for this. This is getting me out of my character. I’m a person who is pretty much in control of myself, and I said this is just not good for me. I said sorry to the network, sorry to production, but I don’t wanna do this anymore."

'RHOP' alum Monique Samuels blamed the reality television show for breaking her decade-long marriage with Chris Samuels. During an interview with Fox 5, she was asked if filming the show played a role in the collapse of her marriage.
Monique agreed and noted, "I would say that reality TV played a role in me waking up to who I am, and it was like the blinders were completely off and removed." The former Bravo show star further noted that the ex-couple "had to deal with one issue after another," including deciding to leave the world of reality TV.
