Experts weigh in on Millie Bobby Brown's 'super classic' $100K diamond ring after she gets engaged to Jake Bongiovi
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Millie Bobby Brown has surprised everyone with her engagement to Jake Bongiovi. The 19-year-old actress took to her Instagram page on April 11 and posted a photo of her with her 20-year-old fiance and captioned it as “I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all.”
The son of Jon Bon Jovi also shared the happy news on his account with two different photos and wrote, “Forever.” Soon, the pair began getting congratulatory messages on their respective pages. A fan said, “Awww congrats! praying you two stay happy together!” Another fan commented, “They are so cute together.” “Are u engaged? If so congrats, i got married at 19 and still together at 58...my classmate! be happy,” the third one shared.

The close-up of the diamond jewelry has not been seen yet but Olivia Landau, fourth-generation GIA certified gemologist and founder/CEO of The Clear Cut, told Hollywood Life, “Millie’s ring looks to be a round brilliant solitaire at approximately 3-3.5ct for the center stone.”
“Assuming this is a natural diamond, a ring of this stature is valued anywhere between $50K-$100K depending on the quality of the diamond. Millie made an excellent choice here – round brilliants are timeless, super classic, and will never go out of style,” Landau noted. Another expert, Ajay Anand, CEO of Rare Carat, told Page Six that the stunning piece should be approximately 3 carats worth nearly $75,000. But The Diamond Pro CEO Mike Fried claimed that the ring must be 5 carats, pricing at around $150,000.
'Divorce is coming early'
Meanwhile, Brown’s engagement to Bongiovi was not happy news for everyone around as some went on Twitter to say she’s too young to be officially committed. A user tweeted, “Teenagers are getting engaged like it’s the 1600s again.” Another user wrote, “Bruh I swear she was like 11 yesterday.” The third user said, “when teenagers are getting engaged and i’m just waiting for barbie updates.” “19 and getting married, divorce is coming early,” the fourth one added.
