Millie Bobby Brown may leave TV to become an influencer after turning down 'Stranger Things' spin-off role
ATLANTA, GEORGIA: After it was reported that she rejected a $12.2M offer to star in a 'Stranger Things' spin-off, Millie Bobby Brown seems to be abandoning TV roles to become an influencer.
Brown became a global star after starring in Netflix's 'Stranger Things' as Eleven, the telekinetic heroine of the sci-fi series, when she was just 12. Now, the actress seems to be focussing on social media. Insiders reportedly said that she wanted to "branch out" into other roles. It appears she is already launching a new career with Instagram brand partnerships. The 'Damsel' actress has been dating rocker Jon Bon Jovi's son, Jake Bongiovi, and often posts mushy photos with him.

The 19-year-old had acknowledged in an interview with Seventeen that she was ready to leave Hawkins after Season 5. “I'm definitely ready to wrap up. I feel like there's a lot of the story that's been told now,” she said, adding, “It's been in our lives for a very long time. But I'm very ready to say goodbye to this chapter of my life, and open new ones up.” Brown added, “I'm able to create stories myself that are important to me and focus on the bigger picture. But I'm really grateful [for the show].”
An entrepreneur at 15
At the age of 15, Brown worked with brand accelerator, Beach House Group, to launch Florence by Mills in 2019. The following year, she bought the bulk of the company's stock. She drew flak in 2019 when followers claimed that she was posting her "beauty routine" while pretending to use the products from her brand.
After the backlash, Brown confessed that the video was fake. She reportedly said that she "doesn't know anything" about skincare and cosmetics in a 2022 interview with Allure, but she felt there was a vast gap between people her age and the beauty business. "That's why I created this. I'm going to take you on this journey with me, so we can learn more about botanicals, serums, fruit and vegetable extracts, enzymes. Things that are so important for your skin, but we don't know about because we're young," she reportedly said.

Brown previously revealed to her followers on an Instagram post that she will be working with Essentia Water, calling it her "go-to brand for staying hydrated." The post's caption read, "I love that @essentiawater is committed to keeping you hydrated so you can do what matters most to YOU… and inspiring people to relentlessly be themselves."
The actor is also working on a number of projects, including a lead role in the Netflix movie 'Damsel', which is scheduled to come out later this year. She will also appear in the sci-fi adventure, 'The Electric State', directed by Joe and Anthony Russo of 'Avengers: Endgame'. She also played the titular character has also worked on other projects, such as her two Netflix movies ‘Enola Holmes’ and ‘Enola Holmes 2’.
