LONDON, ENGLAND: The BRIT Awards 2023 ceremony began as stars lit up the red carpet in their varied outfits. While many of them were praised for pulling off what they wore with grace, some failed to impress the audience. Sam Smith was among the latter.

'The 'Unholy' star was seen wearing a shiny black one-piece inflated jumpsuit by the London-based fashion label Harri, founded by London College of Fashion MA Fashion graduate Harikrishnan Keezhathil Surendran Pillai. The outfit, made from what appeared to be some sort of latex-like shiny material, had huge sleeves, enourmously inflated legs and a zip up the front. They paired it with black platform boots.

Smith is now being trolled for the bizarre outfit, with a user saying, "I can't belive Sam Smith paid money for this wtaf lmao". "I would pay five times the current cost of Twitter Blue if they would guarantee me that I would never see another picture of Sam Smith looking ridiculous in my feed," another said, while a person wrote, "Are we not going to talk about this outfit belongs on an emo oompa loompa? Maybe Sam smith is auditioning to be one in the new movie?" Another person chimed in, "Genuinely wondering what the inspiration was behind the outfit. What did it represent to sam.
