Who sang the national anthem at the 2024 Super Bowl?
Grammy Award-winning country music legend Reba McEntire performed the national anthem during the Super Bowl. Reba stated on CBS Mornings that although this was her first Super Bowl performance, she felt comfortable getting ready because she has been singing the national anthem for decades.
About three and a half hours before kickoff on Sunday, Reba entered Allegiant Stadium for the Super Bowl while holding hands with her companion, Rex Linn, and donning a fluffy gray fake fur coat.
The Jets passed over Allegiant Stadium as Reba sang the national anthem in front of flag-waving servicemen.
Other people were singing before the game started, besides Reba. Pregame entertainment included rapper Post Malone playing a guitar rendition of 'America the Beautiful'and singer Andra Day singing 'Lift Every Voice and Sing,' often known as the Black national anthem.
For every song, there were additional American Sign Language performances. Actor Daniel Durant, who debuted in the movie 'CODA,' sang the national anthem in American Sign Language.
Actor and choreographer Shaheem Sanchez signed 'Lift Every Voice and Sing,' while actress, model, and dancer Anjel Piñero signed 'America the Beautiful.'

Usher almost falls on roller skates during Super Bowl Halftime Show
During his halftime show performance, Usher just managed to escape making a huge television gaffe. The R&B artist sang several of his hits at the Super Bowl this year.
Usher introduced will.i.am midway through his star-studded performance to perform 'OMG,' their song. He appeared with his backing dancers, dressed in a shimmering blue outfit and roller skates.
But as the song was concluding, Usher rolled between will.i.am's knees and appeared to catch himself before collapsing to the floor. Shaking off the near-miss, he spun around on his skates and resumed his act.
