Sasha Walpole, 40, the "older woman" to whom Prince Harry, 38, lost his virginity with a "five-minute" sex session behind a pub when he was a teenager, as he claims in his recent memoir 'Spare,' has joked that the Duke of Sussex "traded down" by marrying Meghan Markle. Speaking on TalkTV's 'Piers Morgan Uncensored' tonight, Sasha laughingly joked that when Piers asked, "Do you think he's traded up from you or down?" she said, "Definitely down!"

In an exclusive television interview, which aired Friday, February 10, Walpole talked about her feelings for Harry and his wife Markle, 41. Walpole, who is a digger driver, said Harry is "not the boy that I remember, that's for sure. But again I'm not in his shoes, I have no idea what's going on in his head. I haven't seen him for 21 years". She added, according to Metro, "It's been a bit of a whirlwind week, and hopefully, it's a means to an end and I can get back and back to normality go back to work, drive my digger... hide back under my rock."

Sasha and Meghan both address Prince Harry as 'H'

When Piers said, "He's gone from a digger to a gold-digger!" Walpole replied, "Yep, you could put it like that" adding that she and Markle address Harry as 'H," reports the New York Post. Walpole also shared her feelings about Markle when Piers asked her what she thought of the Duchess of Sussex. She said, as quoted by Metro, "I sit on the fence, I don't know the lady. I wish him all the best. I wish him the happiest."

Following the interview, Twitter users were quick to react. One of them pointed out the "traded down” statement and said, "#PrinceHarry mystery lover Sasha Walpole jokes he has 'traded down' .... Can't argue with that she's got a sense of humour! "let's have a look at what you could have won Harry." Another said, "Total respect to this lady. Forced into the limelight to give her side of the story and did so with dignity and kept her loyalty to an old friend, even though that respect and loyalty wasn’t given to her." One more commented, "Just watched Piers interview Sasha Walpole, I now understand why she came forward. She's a thoroughly decent girl, not in it for clout or money. She strikes me as a far nicer person than Meghan Markle actually."

'Harry didn't mention Sasha by name'

The interview sparked a strong reaction as some took a dig at Walpole. An individual said, "A one time five minute shag does not make one a lover. There is another word for it." In his 416-page memoir, published January 10, 2023, Harry recounted how he lost his virginity and revealed that he had a brief encounter in a field behind a pub when he was 17. On February 4, Walpole said the incident allegedly took place in July 2001, when Harry was 16 and she was 19. "The sex was passionate and sparky because we shouldn’t have been doing it. One thing just quickly led to another. We ended up on the floor,” Walpole described according to The Sun. Talking further about the details in the book, she said, “No one warned me about the night being included in the book - and Harry, or his people, could have found me to tell me if they had wanted to do so. I lead a peaceful life — I didn’t invite this. Commenting on this, a user pointed, "Lies!! Harry didn’t mention Sasha Walpole by name nor did he give any identifiable details…ZERO! She decided to oust herself."
