LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Property Brothers' actor, Jonathan Scott, used the classic teen rom-com '10 Things I Hate About You' as some inspiration for his Valentine's Day Instagram Reel. The HGTV star listed all the things he loves about his girlfriend, Zooey Deschanel. The HGTV star and 'New Girl 'alum have been going strong ever since they met while filming an episode of 'Carpool Karaoke' back in 2019.
In April 2022, the couple shared a sneak peek of the house they spent almost two years renovating together. They have now moved in together and are enjoying living in their "dream home." The pair have given their fans plenty of sweet updates throughout their relationship, and this Valentine's Day tribute was just too romantic. Using a little inspiration from a classic romcom, Jonathan has expressed all the reasons why he loves his girlfriend. He has even said in the caption that it was difficult to narrow the list down to just 10. "I love the way you talk to me and send me cute emojis," he says, recreating an iconic scene between Julia Stiles and the late Heath Ledger from the movie. "I love the way you drive with me and plan all the fun things we want to do. I love the mad escape room skills you have and the way you pick up my slack. I love that you know what makes me tick and support me when I'm down."
This isn't the end, the actor continued, "I love that we talk things through even when we don't see eye to eye. I love it when you make me laugh, and it happens quite a lot. I love every second when you're around and the fact that I can't get enough." Jonathan ended the clip on a charming note, "But mostly, I love the way I love you, and the way you make me feel loved in return."
