Looks like the drama brewing between exes Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth will take a while to die down as another shocking rumor has popped up involving the two. Some online users are convinced that they have spotted another connection between Cyrus and Hemsworth's girlfriend Gabriella Brooks apart from the 'The Hunger Games' actor. Internet theories imply that the Australian model was one of Cyrus' backup dancers. 

Resurfaced images shared by fans show a woman resembling Brooks appearing on stage standing behind Cyrus at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball in London in June 2014, where the American pop star performed hits from her album 'Bangerz'. At the time, the 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker was taking a break from her engagement with Hemsworth whom she had been dating since 2009 before they eventually came back together in 2016. Netizens are certain that the backup dancer and the Aussie model are one and the same. To back up this theory, online sleuths are pointing at similar freckles and moles that both women have on their arms.

According to the DailyMail, Brooks, 26, lived in London during that period and is presumed to be 17 or 18 years old at the time. Adding fuel to the fire is another similarity spotted in the viral images is Cyrus wearing a flower-themed costume which probably inspired the title of her recently released breakup anthem 'Flowers'. However, despite the uncanny resemblance and identical moles, there is no concrete proof that the woman in the photos is in fact, Hemsworth’s new girlfriend.

Hemsworth and Brooks have been with each other since 2019 merely months after he filed a divorce from Cyrus. The couple has kept their romance largely private and has appeared in a handful of photos together. Moreover, the pair has consistently shut down the split rumors on numerous occasions and even made their first red carpet-appearance in November 2020. 

Cyrus released her new single ‘Flowers’ on the same day as her ex-husband’s 33rd birthday, January 13, which left many to believe that the song is referring to their on-and-off relationship and ultimately the failed marriage. At the time it was believed that Cyrus was willing to work on their nearly decade-old relationship and was shocked by Hemsworth's sudden filing for divorce in 2019. 

The track is currently dominating the charts, becoming Miley's third official UK Number 1 single, as well as debuting at the top of Australia's ARIA Singles Chart. It has also been crowned as the most-streamed song in a single week on Spotify.

Meanwhile, Internet has been discussing Brooks apparently being Cyrus' backup dancer. One user wrote, "Liam going from a A -list superstar like miley to a unsuccessful wannabe IG model has me howling.. this is why he and the “model” get along so well both of them only have careers and are only in the news when it involves Thee Miley Cyrus." Another user wrote, "liam's girlfriend gabriella brooks was Miley's nude dancer in 2013 when she was underage!!she has been stalking liam hemswort for years!!!"
