LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The teaser of the forthcoming episode of ABC show 'The Golden Bachelor' was released recently, and it has not been well received by fans.

The star of the 'The Golden Bachelor' Gerry Turner has completed most of his season on the reality show and is down to his last three women.

He'll be shown visiting the hometowns of contestants Faith Martin, Leslie Fhima, and Theresa Nist in the forthcoming episode of the show to air on November 2. The teaser of the episode featured some of the women's young grandkids.

During the teaser, a child threatens Gerry at the start of the video, saying, "You better not hurt my grandma," which made Gerry giggle. Another young girl was spotted giving the television personality the evil eye.

A little kid in another family stated, "I just think you should be the new Paw-Paw," while another inquired, "Are you gonna marry my grandma?"

Several family members became tearful at the conclusion of the preview clip, pleading with Gerry not to break their loved one's heart.

Gerry is then shown crying during the Rose ceremony since he had to make such a difficult decision.

After seeing all of the grandchildren in the teaser, Bachelor Nation on Reddit criticised Gerry and the producers.

The post read, "Gerry now is being introduced to grandkids that might never see him again. I find this extremely irresponsible. In the preview we already saw that one asked, 'will you marry my Grandma?'"

"The Grandmas that have signed up for this show and Gerry have apparently no wisdom after the long life they have already lived. They are not being good examples for their grandkids," it added.

The post concluded saying, "They all like to present themselves as such caring and sensitive adults, well they should no better not to bring a guy home who will most likely disappear after the visit. I can’t wrap my head around this."

One user, under the thread, commented, "It's not necessarily about bringing the date around, it is about suggesting to the younger children that this man that they have never seen before might marry their grandmother and actually encourage them to comment about it. Why couldn't they just introduce him as grandma's friend and leave the kids out of discussions about marriage?"

Another person added, "I don’t like the idea of visiting the grandkids. Yes, it’s cute TV but they may never see Gerry again."

While one user noted, "Meeting them one time is no big deal. They will never remember him. It only gets bad when they develop a relationship," another added, "Agreed. Completely irresponsible. I was surprised they allowed the kids to be exposed to this."

One fan hoped, "I thought the same thing when I saw the previews. I hope the parents of the kids have the good sense to prepare them in a way that helps with the confusion. (Perhaps they have previously met bfs and gfs of their sibs or other relatives)."

While another argued, "But that just shows them “another guy who does not stick around”. The grandkids should not be part of this imo."

"Absolutely agree! I’m not convinced that meeting the adult children is wise. It’s reality tv and that’s what they signed up for. It still doesn’t make sense to me," chimed another.

'The Golden Bachelor’ Gerry Turner is ‘in love’ with 3 women

Gerry realizes he's in love with all three of his remaining hopefuls during first-ever hometown visits week on 'The Golden Bachelor', and he's not sure how he'll pick who will earn his last rose.

"I've met three families and shared moments with them. I'm in an impossible situation right now," Gerry said in a teaser for the November 2 episode.

"I'm in love with three women," he continued. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do. "I'm dying on the inside right now."

The teaser, following the October 27 episode of 'The Golden Bachelor', showed Gerry going to his three finalists' hometowns and visiting their families.

Various relatives of the ladies were featured, with one man telling Gerry, "I just want someone to love her and take care of her," and another asking, "So, are you in love?" to which Gerry responds, "Yeah, I kind of think I am."
