Did Clive hire Dimitri to break into Lucy's house?

After Lucy found herself giving into the idea of love when she caught feelings for Clive, things took a sharp turn in her life. After much resistance, Clive and Lucy ended up kissing at Lucy's office, a moment that was secretly being captured by a stalker. This stalker, Dimitri, had made Lucy's life a living hell after he broke into her house, leaving her shaken up. Clive, out of concern, suggests Lucy to quietly get away with him for a few days at his cabin and so we see them taking off. Back home, Lucy's partner August manages to confront Dimitri and asks him about the man who hired him to stalk Lucy.

After a few threats, Dimitri gives out a name - Clive. Upon hearing this August tries to inform Lucy but he's not able to connect with her due to network issues and thus leaves a voice message. Lucy, who now seems be letting her guard down in front of Clive hears August's voicemail and is heartbroken. When Clive tries to convince Lucy that he doesn't know anything about a guy Dimitri, Lucy acts out which ends up in Clive getting killed. Therefore, a suspicion arises that Clive is the actual guy, who hired Dimitri.

Who was the guy behind all the chaos?

After the horrific incident of Clive getting killed, August and Lucy confront Dimitri again and after showing him a picture of Clive, Dimitri reveals he hadn't seen this guy in his life. In the middle of this chaos, Camy reveals her boyfriend Charles has been acting up. Everything seems to get linked when Lucy trails Clive's ex-wife, Adriana and sees Charles with her. Turns out, Charles had formulated a romantic relationship with Adriana so that he can deceive her and take all the money that she inherited after Clive's death.

Unfortunately, his plan doesn't go well since Lucy sees everything, including how Charles killed Adriana, and runs to come clean in front of Camy. Even though Charles tries really hard to convince Camy that he did this all for them, Camy leaves Charles and he goes to prison. The movie ends with Lucy and Camy moving on quite happily with their lives and after all this chaos, Lucy decides to turn her story into a novel!
