'A Gift of Murder' is a lifetime thriller original movie. When Dylan Montrose (Bailey Bass), a high school junior, is required to move to a new school when her mother is admitted to rehab, she instantly rubs the reigning mean girl Tiffany (Courtney Cummings) the wrong way. The teen's aunt and uncle offer to give her a sweet sixteen party to help her adjust, but the envious queen bee would go to any length. 'A Gift of Murder' is directed by Michael Feifer.

Changing schools or relocating to a new location can be exasperating for any teenager. Dylan felt the same way and leaving her friends and old school was something she didn't want to do. However, after seeing her mother's state, she feels compelled to do so since Dylan believes her mother would improve after going to rehab. 'A Gift of Murder': 5 things to know about Lifetime thriller starring Bailey Bass

Dylan's sweet sixteenth birthday is on May 14th. Her aunt wanted to give her a beautiful party. But nothing can go as planned. Dylan had an encounter with crazy adolescent cruel girl Tiffany on the first day of school. And, according to Tiffany, things got off to a shaky start. Tiffany went to a new degree of eccentricity as a result of her jealousy. From pranking Dylan by giving her an itchy powder-filled uniform to destroying the Harcourt Manner, where Dylan had scheduled her sweet 16 birthday party.

'A Gift of Murder' (Lifetime)

Usually, lifetime films have a lot of thrillers, but this one is more like a typical teen film that we've seen before, but with a light touch of suspense and thriller. Basically, the entire film revolves around a sweet 16 birthday, which two teenage girls wish to celebrate. And, as a result of one person's jealousy, the gorgeous venue is destroyed, and no one gets to spend their birthday there.

While viewing the film, I felt that it was a more basic film with a new teen entering a new school, and the mean or popular girl feeling threatened by the fact that this new girl would take her place, boyfriend, and friends. Although, in my opinion, the film was neither thrilling nor mysterious. Bailey Bass, on the other hand, delivered a fantastic performance as the new bold girl, and it was a joy to see her. In my view, it's one time watch as it has a teen-oriented plot with a hint of romance, not to mention the insane jealousy that exists nowadays.
