LOS ANGELES, CALIFRONIA: During the opening monologue of the January 28 broadcast of 'Saturday Night Live', Michael B Jordan  poked light at his relationship status. The 35-year-old admitted that he had broken up with his one-year girlfriend, Lori Harvey, and is now searching for love on the celebrity dating app, Raya.

Jordan piqued the audience's and his co-stars' interest by joking about his breakup with Harvey and joining Raya, a dating app that many celebrities have admitted to using. This information has not grasped the stars' interest but has made the Internet go into a frenzy as netizens took to Twitter express their excitement.

Following his announcement that he had joined Raya, several cast members, including Chloe Fineman, Heidi Gardner, and Ego Nwodim, began flirting with the actor, with the latter of the three suggesting marriage as well as "makeup sex."

Raya is not your typical dating app. Raya, which was officially launched in 2015 as an "online membership-based community for dating, networking, and making new friends," quickly became known as the exclusive app for influencers, artists, and A to C-list celebrities and famous individuals, as reported by Page Six.

About Lori Harvey and Michael B Jordan's breakup 

Harvey and Jordan had an 18-month solid relationship before splitting up in June 2022. According to People, a source said that the couple of a year and a half split despite still being in love with each other. The source revealed that Harvey and Jordan decided their relationship couldn't work. Jordan, 35, was reportedly ready to settle down, although Harvey, 25, wasn't on the same page. According to Jordan, "[She] wasn't ready to commit. She is very focused on her career. [She] realized that they weren't on the same page [while they] were making plans for their future," as reported by Elle.
