Christmas tickles us with merriment, and this time, the joy would be more amplified as Hallmark Channel has come up with cheerful films for the festive season. The network’s delightful lineup of festive movies will run from October and shall continue till the year-end to our amazement. Its impressive collection of movies has 'If I Only Had Christmas', a holiday adventure, which will urge one to follow their hearts. The movie brings up a story of courage and charity. However, the plot hints at some twists that we will leave for the viewers to unravel. Before we head to watch it, here’s what we need to know about the film.

‘If I Only Had Christmas’ releases on Sunday, November 29, at 8 pm ET on Hallmark.

Plot

The official synopsis of the film reads, “Kansas City publicist Darcy ventures to the Emerald Educational Trust for the job of a lifetime, helping VP Glen Goodman and his team find the know how, courage, and heart to help a charity in need for Christmas. Darcy and Glen begin to realize they have everything in common. However, Glen's surprise revelation at the big Christmas gala just may put an end to their promising romance before it has really gotten started.”

Candace is a multifaceted personality as she is an actress, producer, host and also a New York Times best-selling author. The inspirational speaker and mother of three is a star who knows how to excel at her job at the personal and professional front. The actress has featured in reputed television networks like ABC, Netflix, Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and is a role model for millions. Viewers have known the actress from her role as DJ. Tanner in the popular television series ‘Full House’ which garnered great commercial success. The actress had also done a three-year run as her character Summer Van Horn on ABC Family Network’s ‘Make It or Break It’. In the field of production, Bure has served as the executive producer with her production company iCandy Productions which has produced the hit mystery movie series ‘The Aurora Teagarden Mysteries’ on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.

Candace’s other notable credits in the entertainment industry include ‘Puppy Love’, ‘Moonlight & Mistletoe’, ‘Let It Snow’, ‘Finding Normal’ and the Emmy-nominated ‘The Heart of Christmas’ to name some. Most of these films have fared extremely well on Hallmark Channel.

Born in Northern Ireland, Warren Christie spent most of his childhood in London, Ontario. The actor shifted to Windsor from London where he recognized his passion for performing arts. The actor then decided to move to Vancouver, where he polished his good looks and acting caliber that quickly landed him in desirable leading roles. Christie had featured as a lead actor on the ABC series ‘October Road’ between 2005 to 2007 where he played a cocky construction company owner.From 2007 onwards the star has featured on many television shows and movies like ‘The Prince of Motor City’, ‘House Rules’ and most recently ‘ALPHAS’. Christie had been a regular on the ABC series ‘Happy Town’.

The movie ‘If I Only Had Christmas’ is directed by David Weaver who is a writer-producer-director. As per the director’s bio provided by his personal website, David’s works have been screened in over a dozen countries and won multiple accolades. The site says, “Weaver made his feature film directorial debut with Century Hotel, starring Colm Feore, Mia Kirschner, and Lindy Booth. It premiered at the 2001 Toronto International Film Festival and received two Genie nominations. Variety noted it as ‘a very strong first feature’”. David Weaver’s notable credits include ‘The Samaritan’ (2012), ‘Moon Palace’ (2000) and ‘Siblings’ (2004).
