LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Chase Chrisley, has finally spoken publically on his parents’ separate prison conviction during a podcast show ‘Unlocked’, hosted by sister Savannah Chrisley. The host asked why he hadn’t acknowledged the situation, as he was the only family member who chose to remain silent. Chase responded, "I think that I don't owe anybody an explanation. I don't owe the public an explanation. I don't need to explain how I feel to anybody, other than the people that I care about and that I love."

The 26-year-old added, "Obviously, what we have been going through is hell. It is a terrible, terrible situation. But I have to try and find the good, even in the darkest time. I feel like throughout everything that we have been going through, it has made me appreciate things I did not appreciate as much in the past.” Chase also talked about how he has been "working behind the scenes," and it will manifest in his actions in coming years, “It's made me do a lot of reflecting and just kind of figuring out who I am now as a man and who I wanna be in 10 years, and then 10 years from there."

Chrisley DID NOT know best! Todd and Julie Chrisley could face 30 YEARS in prison

During the podcast episode, The ‘Chrisley Knows Best’ star is committed towards her fiancé Emily and wants to make sure she’s good during these difficult times for the entire family, "I have to make sure that I'm good, so I can be good for [my fiancée] Emmy [Medders]. I have to make sure Emmy's good. I have to make sure my family is good emotionally and that I am in a place emotionally where I can be there for my loved ones." Chase further said, "So that's why I haven't really said anything on Instagram or anything like that because I feel like I've been doing the work behind the scenes. And that's going to pay off and I'll just let my actions speak for what needs to be said."

Celebrity couple Todd 53, and Julie, 49, were slapped with fraud and tax evasion by a court in November, where a federal judge sentenced Todd to 12 years in prison (with 16 months probation), and 7 years in prison (with 16 months probation) for Julie. A few days after the decision was announced, Chase wrote an emotional post on his Instagram story, "Next time someone you love wants to go for a walk or watch a football game or play a board game or just put your phone down and give them your undivided attention, just do it.”

Todd and Julie have to report to prison in Florida on January 17, 2023, however, they are going ahead by further appealing their case.
