NASHVILLE, TENNESSEE: Savannah Chrisley finally spoke about her 16-year-old brother Grayson's car crash, days after their parents, Todd and Julie were sentenced to 19 years in prison for their financial crimes. The 25-year-old reality show star revealed how horrifying the whole incident was and added that her "heart sank" seeing her "beat up" brother, in the Tuesday, November 29, episode of her 'Unlocked' podcast.

According to AceShowbiz, Chrisley said, "He was on the interstate. I think another car was, like, weaving in and out of traffic. I think everyone in the situation just overcorrected because of this one car." She elaborated, "His car's totaled. It was bad. He made it sound like a fender-bender. And y'all, when I tell you the whole front of his truck [was destroyed]. Like, every airbag deployed. When I showed up and saw it, literally my heart sank because, for anyone that knows, Grayson has always had a special place in my heart."

Following the crash, Grayson was taken by his family to a Nashville hospital where doctors checked for any head injuries. Chrisley said that Grayson told her that this was "the last thing" their family needed amid the ongoing drama involving their parents.

"Dad was like, 'Grayson, you're alive. You're safe. Who cares. It's a car. That's what insurance is for. You're alive and you're safe and you're well,'" she recalled her father saying. "All Grayson was worried about was a photo. He has a Polaroid picture of dad on his dashboard. He's OK. He's beat up, but he's OK. It could've been worse. So thank the good Lord above. Needless to say we've had a lot going on in our household. But we're getting through it, we're getting through it. We try to find the silver lining in everything. It's hard," Chrisley further stated,

In the middle of rush hour on November 12, Grayson was reportedly driving his Ford F-150 when he rammed the back of a Dodge pickup truck. The white truck's front was wrecked, and the driver's side window was cracked, according to pictures obtained by TMZ. Police reported that when they arrived at 5.30 pm, he was unable to recall what had happened. The driver of the red Dodge was hurt but did not need medical attention.

The accident took place few days after their parents were given a lengthy prison sentences for conspiring to defraud banks of more than $30M and evading taxes. In their final statement, the mother-daughter duo stated that they were still trying to “find the silver lining in everything.”
