The season’s fall finale is just around the corner, and before that HTGAWM is laying down all possible twists and turns in its plot. As the promo of Season 6 Episode 8 reveals, Annalise is seriously considering turning themselves into the police, before things get worse for each one of them. And right at that time, we hear Bonnie in a do-or-die situation. Bonnie’s situation is something we haven’t considered in a while.

Ever since she decided to go ahead with the suit against the governor, she has been on edge. Despite Annalise warning her about hidden truths coming out in the open with the trial, Bonnie and Nate don’t budge. After all, Nate is out there to seek justice for his father’s wrongful death and Bonnie is only supporting her friend. With the trial coming up, this will be a very sensitive period for Nate and everyone around him, and that also includes Bonnie.

Elsewhere, we see the governor in alliance with Xavier, an angle we had never seen or even remotely considered. So, is it possible that they find out about how Nate and Bonnie are pushing for the trial and try to get them out of the way? We already knew that the Castillos had been working for and with DA Denver and have helped him get things when needed. So, it wouldn’t be surprising if we discover that Xavier has been the ‘cleanup guy’ for the governor and killed Emmett.

Now, even the students of Annalise are in a mess as they attempt to save themselves from further danger. Annalise, on the other hand, is seen trying to protect everyone around her, as far as she can. But whether her attempts will be successful or not is something that episode 8 will reveal eventually.

The turn this season 6 has started to take, taking us through more secrets and cover-ups, we wonder if the next episode and the fall finale thereafter, will be able to answer the questions that the last few episodes left us with. The murder of the unnamed and unknown FBI informant, Annalise’s plans for leaving the country, Asher’s crime (or whatever he got involved in), and Oliver’s unexpected confession (in the future), are some of the concerns that we still have, and so far we have only been left hanging in deep suspense, without any clue of what to expect.

All said and done, Bonnie’s ‘expected’ death is sure to put a new angle to the story’s development and at this point, we can only say that anything is possible in the world of Annalise Keating.

Watch the preview of episode 8, as the show closes in on its final few episodes.
