Amelia gets ready for a big party but feels a pang of sadness missing her best friend Archie. As she looks through a box of her mother's things, a bike pulls up outside.
It's Billy, the new boy she likes, there to pick her up for the party. However, it's seen that Amelia's neighbor Maggie helps her sneak out through the balcony.
On her bike ride, Amelia's dress gets caught in the chain and rips. She ditches the bike and runs all the way to Archie's house. Finding him lying on his bed, she blurts out that she needs a date for the party and forgets all about Billy.
Archie, heartbroken because Amelia likes Billy, gets super emotional. Amelia finally confesses that she made a mistake and actually loves him. Speechless, Archie trips and falls trying to get to her.
