'Sister Wives' star Robyn Brown gets emotional over talk of Kody's ex-wives returning: 'I'm just...'
The drama is always intense in TLC's 'Sister Wives,' and this time, it has Robyn Brown at its center. As Kody Brown's only remaining wife, Robyn doesn't have a friendly relationship with her former sister wives, Meri, Christine, and Janelle Brown. Their relationship has been so tense that Robyn recently spoke out about Kody's ex-wives returning to the Brown household, and it was exactly what we were expecting.
The latest episode of 'Sister Wives' features Kody as he takes the lead, meeting with Meri, Janelle, and Christine on an apology tour. When asked in a confessional about a former wife possibly returning, Robyn is left completely speechless, as per Entertainment Now. "How would you react if one of the ex-wives wanted to return?" Roby is asked, to which she responds, "Return to the family? Like, what? Really? I would be very surprised."
She added, "I don't even want to answer this … It's so making me sad right now." When the director apologized, Robyn said, "Because you just opened this little portal of hope, and I'm just like, I didn't even think of that, and now I'm just like, what if?" Kody previously told his current wife, Robyn, that he wanted to apologize to Meri, Janelle, and Christine, and he began his apology tour with a visit to North Carolina to meet Janelle. People shared an exclusive clip from the Sunday, December 7 episode showing Kody and Janelle's face-to-face meeting.
Kody began his apology to Janelle by saying, "I just wanted to come and say that I apologize… I want to apologize for just being so angry and so bitter over the family breakup, and just nobody deserved to have me be that angry." In her response, Janelle said that she didn't recognize him toward the end of their marriage, saying, "I kept thinking, I don't know who this guy is… This is not the guy that I was married to forever."
In a confessional, Janelle added, "The person I would see speaking all these things publicly, I'm like, 'I don't know who that guy is.' I still don't recognize him." She continues, "It's like somebody I've seen that I used to know a long time ago, lots of pieces that I recognize, lots of common things that we can remember together, but I don't, I don't recognize [him]. He lives a completely different life; it feels like now. So do I."
