Fans of Florida rapper Ducky P were in for a shock when they logged on to social media and there was news of his alleged death. News of the rapper’s alleged death had started circulating everywhere and while there is no official news verifying these claims, it has been doing the rounds on social media.

Amidst the news of his death were the rumors that he was allegedly shot to death.

One Twitter user, who claims he interviewed Ducky P, shared a video featuring him and wrote, "One of the first artists to let me get an interview. Had me outside Motown at 1am in the Cliff. Damn man. RIP Ducky P."


Ducky P was also known as Bornpaid Ducky P. Originally from Dallas, Texas, he is a rapper based in Florida. The viral rumors suggesting that he was shot and killed have claimed that he died in his hometown. The circulating rumors revealed that Ducky was in his vehicle when the suspect fired shots at him. Even though medical professionals arrived shortly afterward, he had already succumbed to his injuries.

With more than 15,000 followers, his Instagram bio describes him as “DemonWithGlasses. BornpaidCeo. Pond Digger.” The rapper rose to prominence with his songs on YouTube like 'No Matter What I Do' and 'Burry Me'. With over 164,000 subscribers on his YouTube, he is fairly popular on the site. His most recent video was uploaded three weeks ago. The song titled 'Lookin' features him and fellow rapper Bp Trouble.

Although there are a few reports online that suggest that the rapper was allegedly shot to death, there has been no official confirmation from his family, friends, or even the police. Just a day ago, he had shared his last Instagram post. Featuring a black background with the words, 'If You Missed It Go Fw My Last Post.'


One fan of his tweeted, "Damn they done killed DuckyP!!! I don’t know the facts behind it but I hope it’s not behind what I think it is. Rip DuckyP!"


Another added, “Rip to duckyp. Dallas be trippin wit da rap violence.’" Yet another fan tweeted, "Damn they done killed that lil boy Ducky P ? What the hell".



On his Instagram, many fans shared their thoughts and prayers. "Damn bro wasn’t even like dat fr smfh this city crazy asl," one commented.

Since the police are yet to release any more official information surrounding the death it is best to not jump to conclusions. 

A month ago, a teenage rapper was also shot dead in Connecticut. YNT Juan, whose real name is Juan Bautista Garcia, was fatally shot in Hartford, Connecticut. He was just 17 years old at the time of his death. "He was only 17 years old. He never went live on his Instagram to talk about drama, he only went on there to support his friends or promote his music. [He] didn't even get to graduate school yet," Garcia's childhood friend Janine told the Hartford Courant.
