CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA: Actress and singer Selena Gomez broke the internet with her confirmation about being single. She made this move after there were rumors surrounding the actress dating The Chainsmokers singer Drew Taggart surfing the internet.
The actress took it upon herself to inform her fans about the rumors. Selena, on her Instagram story, uploaded an image of the clouds (in black and white) and captioned it "I like being alone too much." She also added "#iamsingle" to her picture.

It was a while back when news of the two singers dating was all over the internet. According to ET, a source said the singers "are dating and things are still new" it also adds that the "two met through mutual friends in a friendly, low-key way, but had an instant connection and liked each other as people."
The rumors caught wind when PageSix published a video of the couple enjoying bowling, it also reported that an eye-witness saw the couple making out and “There was also a group of young girls that went up for pictures from her shortly after and a man getting an autograph,” the insider adds.

Soon after the rumor was dismissed by the actress, her fans had some remarkable comments. One user wrote "YOU’RE BACK OMG" another user wrote "thank god," and "PRAISE THE LORD!!" another said.

The fans went on sending the actress good wishes after this announcement, it seems as if the fans were not big fans of the duo. A user wrote "She can buy herself flowers" and another user wrote "yes queen thank you we love you" another user wrote "Good she deserves way better."
The fans of the singer also took a dig at the chain-smoker's artist, a user wrote, "SHE BASICALLY REJECTED HIM LMAOO." Another user wrote, "her charity work is done."
