Heather Dubrow’s daughter Kat comes out as lesbian 2 years after Max came out as bisexual
The 'Real Housewives of Orange County' star Heather Dubrow’s daughter Kat has come out as lesbian. Two years ago, Heather's eldest daughter Max, 18, came out as bisexual. Kate, 15, is her second daughter.
Heather told media channel ET online, "We are so proud to show what our version of a 'normal' family looks like today. It's really important that we provide an environment of unconditional love and acceptance for our children, and let them know that humans come in all different colors, genders, sexualities. Once we start appreciating this and practicing inclusion, love and acceptance, the better off we will all be. We hope that by sharing our story we are starting conversations in other homes and hopefully helping people."

“We’ve got four kids, they are different genders, different sexualities, and all at interesting places in their lives, figuring out who they are and where they belong as humans,” Heather Dubrow added.
Kat admits, "I was really stressed about it but I'm really grateful that I have Max as an older sister, that she has already gone through all of this. Seeing my sister be so proud, and to see her be so comfortable with herself, it just makes me feel like I have nothing to worry about."
Kat told media outlets, “She’s asked me about my pronouns. It’s really easy to talk to her. It’s not like I have to build up courage if I have something to tell her.”
Heather Dubrow and her husband Terry Dubrow, a plastic surgeon and 'Botched' star, have four children: Max, Nick, Coco and Kat.
Max came out to her mom privately in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic, "I guess I didn't make a big deal about it," Heather added. "She texted me and goes, 'I've got to tell you something.' I'm like, 'What?' She's like, 'I'm bisexual.' I'm like, 'Yeah. I know. Remember we talked about it?'"
