The popular artiste Hayley Kiyoko has just called off her upcoming North American tour which had been organized in support of her recent album 'I'm Too Sensitive for This S***'. The tour had originally been scheduled to begin in San Diego on January 29 and end around the middle of March 2020.

Kiyoko took to her social media on Saturday, January 18, to make the announcement about her tour cancellation. The 'She' singer addressed it to all her fans, whom she has affectionately dubbed her "Kiyokians" and apologized profusely to them for her sudden change of plans.

"We have been on this journey for some time now and I'm so proud of this beautiful community of people supporting each other together," the grateful singer began. "You inspire me each and everyday. We have grown so much each and every year, and as a community we must continue to grow. With every step forward sometimes we have setbacks that help make us stronger and push harder."

Hayley then went on to reveal what those setbacks were, saying she had some upsetting news for her adoring fans. "The timing for the tour didn't go the way we had hoped and due to a lot of factors not aligning for the year ahead, I am forced to make the extremely difficult decision to cancel my upcoming North American tour," she sadly stated. Clearly struggling to contain her emotions, the 28-year-old went on to say, "I have never canceled one show date in my entire career and so this is really one of the hardest decisions I've ever made, and even more heartbreaking to express to you."

The young singer then vowed to her fans that she would make it up to them: "I promise we will look back at this time and know it led to something bigger and greater. Please know that I'm not going anywhere. I won't be taking any time off. I will be using this time to work extremely hard on finishing my new album in order to give you my absolute best."

Hayley also said that she was extremely sorry for making this decision, saying "I apologize deeply for disappointing you and I promise I will give you that space to be free soon."

Kiyoko then offered her fans a full refund for the tickets and VIP packages that they had already purchased, and closed with "I love you all so much. I am so sorry." You can read the full announcement made by Kiyoko on her social media here.
