LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lala Kent criticizes Gucci and Harry Styles for their 'sick' ad featuring a child's bed and a teddy bear blouse. Kering, the parent company of the struggling luxury brand Balenciaga, is embroiled in yet another PR squabble over a promotional photograph featuring Harry Styles for Gucci, another of the firm's brands.

"I'm gonna need to know what the f*ck is going on here. Why is there a children's mattress in the photo? Explain yourselves," the 'Vanderpump Rules' star shared a photo of Harry modeling for the latest Gucci ad on her Instagram story. Harry appears in the Gucci ad, which was released on November 2, wearing a teddy bear T-shirt and posing next to a toddler-sized mattress. Teddy bears were also at the core of the Balenciaga ad campaign scandal, which prompted many to condemn or boycott the company for releasing disturbing images of children.

TARGET THE BRAINS NOT THE TALENT: Balenciaga to sue creative heads of controversial Spring 2023 campaign

After all, he may fall out of style. As a consequence of a T-shirt and images from the 'As It Was' singer's HA HA HA Gucci commercial campaign, Harry Styles and Gucci are experiencing backlash. The 28-year-old, who has worked with Gucci for years, clutches and stands in front of what looks to be a child-size mattress while sporting a blouse with an angry-looking pink teddy bear on it in photographs shared to the fashion house's Instagram account. "I want more berries and that summer feeling," the shirt says, a line from his Grammy-winning 2019 song 'Watermelon Sugar.'

The Gucci images come only weeks after Balenciaga's recent contentious campaign, in which toddlers were shown holding BDSM-themed teddy bears. In another shot, papers from a Supreme Court decision upholding a portion of a federal child pornography legislation were sitting under a purse. "A performance piece starring Harry Styles and the Gucci HA HA HA collection. Discover the campaign at the link in bio," Gucci captioned their new Instagram photographs. "The House presents the Gucci HA HA HA campaign featuring British singer-songwriter and actor, Harry Styles," Gucci said on its website. "Arising from the friendship between him and creative director Alessandro Michele, play is at the very heart of the collection, which uses menswear as a tool of the avant-garde."

"Captured by Mark Borthwick, the series of images sees Harry Styles showcase the ‘dream wardrobe’ defined by the eccentric use of romantic accents, whimsical prints, vintage details, and the expressive emotionality of the individual," Gucci added.

Lala continued in her Instagram story, "Be right now, y'all look like you need a mental evaluation, and it's hitting a little too close to home for me to STFU. @harrystyles you're a clown. & I thought that before this sick a** campaign. This world is dark... but you won't be getting to my child. Noooooope @gucci"

The campaign was shot in November and developed by Alessandro Michele, who has since departed his position as creative director. Kering, a Paris-based worldwide luxury goods conglomerate, owns both Gucci and Balenciaga. Gucci has subsequently published multiple Instagram posts, but none have addressed Harry's photographs. He, too, has not.

Lala Kent previously chastised Balenciaga for a child ad campaign and stated that she is pleased not to purchase a single thing from the design house. Regardless of whether she will be shadowbanned again, the 'Vanderpump Rules' actress lambasted Balenciaga for not caring about children's innocence. Lala stated in an Instagram story post that documents added to campaign photographs had "horrifying" remarks scribbled on them. She asked the public to zoom in for a better look, adding, "Y'all- we need to do better." The 31-year-old mother of one also urged her followers to reject evil and seek out the brightness.
