Harry Styles smiles as he poses with loved ones on Christmas following breakup with Olivia Wilde
LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Harry Styles was seen celebrating Christmas with his mother and sister back home in England following his separation from ex-girlfriend Olivia Wilde. The 28-year-old singer's mother Anne Twist took to her Instagram as she gave a glimpse of how her family enjoyed the festive season on Wednesday, December 28.
“Christmas 2022,” the mother of two, 55, captioned the post which included a selfie of Styles with his mom Anne, his sister Gemma and her boyfriend Michal Mlynowski. While the former One Direction star had a remarkably successful year, he could not help falling bait to a string of controversies throughout. From allegedly spitting on co-star Chris Pine to queer-baiting accusations, the 'Two Ghosts' hitmaker was targeted constantly in 2022. Amid this, Styles ended his romance with the 38-year-old Hollywood star Olivia Wilde.

In the picture, the 'As It Was' singer flashed an endearing smile as he wrapped his arms around his sister and her long-term boyfriend, while Anne captured a selfie of all four of them during a festive walk over the weekend.
Styles sported a yellow North Face puffer jacket along with a blue hoodie and a black North Face thermal. The Grammy award winner completed his holiday look with a pair of sunglasses and a claw clip in his hair. Another picture from the slideshow shows a candle-lit dining table laid for four people, filled with Christmas edibles. The picture series also included a huge open fireplace indicating a cozy Christmas.
The ‘Watermelon Sugar’ singer was recently active on his social media as he wrote a reflective message along with a black and white snap of himself in an empty arena. "2022 changed my life. I can’t begin to thank all of you who supported me through it, I’ll never forget it. I hope your end of year is filled with happiness and calm. Love you all. See you next year. H," he wrote in the caption of the post shared on December 15.
Styles achieved major feats of his career this year, including the release of his third solo album and topping the charts around the world, and starring in thriller drama 'Don't Worry Darling' and romantic drama 'My Policeman'. However, the former X factor contestant was also met with a list of controversies affecting his reputation. This included his average performance in the thriller film directed by Styles' former girlfriend Wilde, who allegedly had a feud with another cast member Florence Pugh. The dispute created more headlines than the actual movie.
Another one of the scandals found the singer being criticized for a Gucci ad campaign where he is seen posing in a teddy-bear t-shirt next to a toddler bed, only a few weeks after the fashion house's sister brand Balenciaga was embroiled in a similar ad controversy featuring children. Finally, Styles was also accused of queerbaiting as the singer suggests his sexuality to be fluid, however, he has only been seen dating women and has never been caught or admitted to being in a relationship with a man.
