Amazon Prime Video is treating fans of the espionage mystery genre with a new watch based on the hit novel by Olen Steinhauer that is enfolded with death, danger, romance, so hopes are already high for the movie.
When a plane hijacking resulted in deaths, the Vienna office of the CIA who was helpless at the time, re-opens the case as they suspect someone from their office betrayed them. 'All the Old Knives' will see Henry tasked with investigating his ex-lover Celia when the CIA suspects her of being a double agent that fed information to the terrorists who caused major devastation. The old case about the plane hijacking opens up a can of worms that encases the past and present of both, as suspicion mounts. Chris Pine as Henry Pelham
Chris Pine is a well-known American actor who began his career with small roles on television shows like 'ER', 'CSI: Miami' and more. In 2004 he made his feature film debut with the hit rom-com movie ' The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement' and slowly began gaining popularity with works like 'Just My Luck', ' Blind Dating', 'Bottle Shock' and more. The early 2010s was when we received worldwide recognition when he starred in multiple meaty roles. Playing leads in 'Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit', Captain Kirk in the acclaimed 'Star Trek' film series, 'This Means War' etc he cemented his place as an A-lister in Hollywood.
His career has been on an upward trajectory with him being known for Steve Trevor in 'Wonder Woman', Dr. Alexander Murry in' A Wrinkle in Time', 'Robert the Bruce in 'Outlaw King' and others. Thandiwe Newton is a prominent English actress who started her acting career in 1991 with the rom-com 'Flirting' which she followed up with roles in ' Interview with the Vampire', ' Beloved', ' Mission: Impossible 2', 'The Pursuit of Happyness', 'ER' and more. One of Newton's most prominent works is the science fiction drama series 'Westworld' where she portrayed Maeve Millay, Her brilliant acting won her much critical acclaim as well as multiple award nominations with her winning the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, among other accolades. She also won a BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her part in the movie 'Crash'
The talented actress was even appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) 2019 and included in the 2019 edition of the 'Powerlist', ranking the 100 most influential Black Britons. Newton will portray the female lead of Celia Harrison who is under suspicion of being a mole in 'All the Old Knives'
