The couple first crossed paths in 2002 at the Golden Globe Awards and tied the knot eight years later in a low-key ceremony in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In 2003, Ford gushed about his love for Flockhart, stating, "I'm in love. Romantic love is one of the most exciting and fulfilling kinds of love, and I think there is a potential for it at any stage of your life.
