'Hard Knocks: Los Angeles' Episode 3: Rams' new uniform slammed, fans label it 'garbage' and 'atrocious'
While the Los Angeles Rams camp is busy working outplays, getting its players into shape, prepping for their first game on September 13, their fans had a hard time coming to terms with the team's new outfit for the 2020 season. The new uniform— bone-colored with redesigned helmets was shown when the players entered the SoFi Stadium to have a simulation scrimmage. While the venue was appreciated by fans calling it "lit", the uniforms came under some intense criticism.
"Damn those Rams white uniforms are atrocious #HardKnocks," wrote one of the fans.

However, there seemed to be one positive opinion coming in. "Wait seriously? I love the new modern look of the rams and the chargers. Both LA teams look so fresh now! Much needed overhaul for both," opined one of the fans.

"Rams new helmets... solid A Rams new jersey’s... as close to an F as I could ever give an NFL team... I would like the white jersey if it weren’t for the horrible metallic numbers," remarked a fan.

Some felt more effort could've gone in for a better jersey. "The Rams really could’ve done better with the jerseys and logo. Seriously," a tweet read.

In related news, the Rams and Chargers announced on Tuesday, August 25, the SoFi Stadium will not have the audience in until further notice due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. According to Los Angeles Times, Rams chairman/owner Stan Kroenke in a statement said: “While we are doing everything to safely open SoFi Stadium and ultimately fulfill its promise to Rams fans, the NFL and to this region, we know our ability to welcome fans into the building will be guided by the wisdom of health care experts and the policies of local, state and federal government officials."
He added: "Therefore, we won’t speculate on any timeline as to when fans will be able to join us. The health and well-being of our employees, community, and the nation, remains our highest concern."
