Gwyneth Paltrow smirks while leaving court after her legal team pokes holes in Terry Sanderson's case
PARK CITY, UTAH: After a long day of testimony in the ongoing case involving a 2016 ski accident, Gwyneth Paltrow was spotted grinning as she left the Park City court. This may be a sign that she believes her side of the story is winning. The actress and lifestyle expert left the courthouse on Wednesday, 29 March, the day before the trial's last planned day, wearing a stylish long navy overcoat over a black dress, a timeless pair of Ray-Ban aviators, and a slight smile.
Without putting the actress's husband, Brad Falchuk, to the stand, the seventh day of the trial came to a conclusion. The jury will retire to deliberate their decision after the conclusion of the closing arguments on Thursday.

Terry Sanderson, a retired ophthalmologist, is suing Paltrow for $300,000 after he claims she rear-ended him in 2016. Paltrow has filed a $1 counterclaim in response to the legal lawsuit, asserting her innocence. The 76-year-old retired doctor alleges that in addition to having four broken ribs, he also sustained a lasting brain lesion that has significantly altered his personality, as reported by DailyMail.
'I was determined to prove I did not have mental issues'
Ms Paltrow, 50, appeared in court on Wednesday wearing just black, with her blonde hair falling loosely over her face. Sanderson reiterated his assertion that he underwent a significant change as a result of the incident. He said, "Looking back on the time, I was determined to prove I did not have mental issues. I found it was like flipping a switch. It was like I was on the light side and now I'm on the dark side." He stated his account of the collision as follows, as per reports.
'It's a hit and run'
He said, "I was just gliding down the slope, not making turns, then the silence was broken by a hysterical scream. The best hysterical scream you've ever heard." He went on and added, "I consider it a hit and run when you run into something or somebody and leave the scene. There was no one there when I woke up - if the person who did it isn't there when you wake up, it's a hit and run," as reported by DailyMail.
'It's a pain trying to sue a celebrity'
When asked if he regretted filing the lawsuit, he responded, "It's a pain trying to sue a celebrity. I felt like I was seriously injured and then I had so many insults added to that and layered on. This is an issue that someone needs to be accountable for and if they don't not going to be accountable, they're going to do it again."
Sanderson was also questioned about a number of holiday photos he had shared on Facebook, including journeys to Thailand, the Canary Islands, Morocco, Switzerland, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam—all of which had taken place after the tragedy. Terry Sanderson's lawyers claimed that Deer Valley Resort in Utah catered to the actress because she was a "big spender" and had spent $8,980 (£7,300) on ski lessons for her kids, as per reports.
