Veteran London dance duo Groove Armada will drop their first studio album in a decade titled 'Edge of the Horizon'. The pair, comprising Tom Findlay and Andy Cato, announced the release of their upcoming LP on Twitter, "'Edge of the Horizon', our new album, is coming! Inspired by 20 years of tunes that soundtracked travels, sunsets & after shows, it's out 2nd Oct. Pre Order & listen to the new single 'Lover 4 Now' ft Todd Edwards now! #GrooveArmada #EdgeoftheHorizon"

The electronic music duo, who reached the height of their popularity in the early 2000s with the release of their album 'Goodbye Country (Hello Nightclub)', released three singles from the upcoming 'Edge of the Horizon'. Here's all you need to know about the release.

Release date and concept

'Edge of the Horizon' is all set to release worldwide on October 2, 2020, via BMG. The album will be the duo's first LP since 2010's double album 'Black Light' and 'White Light'. Talking to NME.com about the upcoming release, Groove Armada's Andy Cato said, "During those studio days, the rest of the world shuts down. There’s an intensity, anyone looking in might say madness, that kicks in when we’re totally lost amongst the instruments, synths and records day and night. But that shared, unspoken feeling that comes when we both know we’ve got it right cuts through as clear as ever."

Explaining the emotions behind the track 'Lover 4 Now', Groove Armada said, "Ibiza. Poolside at Pikes, that time of the evening when day becomes night and anything seems possible".
