Grimes, whose real name is Claire Elise Boucher, sparked pregnancy rumors on Tuesday, December 28 after she shared a new picture of hers on Instagram. In her latest post, the 33-year-old musician broke the Internet after posting an animated image of hers sporting a baby bump. Social media users soon got into the action as they speculated second pregnancy for the singer-songwriter.
 
Grimes, who parted ways with SpaceX founder Elon Musk in September 2021 after dating for three years, had her first kid with the billionaire in May 2020. They named him X Æ A-Xii Musk. The ‘Player of Games’ hitmaker was also rumored to be dating voice actor and model Noah Centineo after they were papped packing a PDA restaurant in September 2021. Speaking of Grimes’ pregnancy, many on social media wondered if Elon Musk could be the father of Grimes’ rumored second child. A few others also joked that it might be Jeff Bezos’ baby.

Is Grimes pregnant?

In her latest Instagram post, Grimes shared an animated picture of hers that looked straight out of a video game. The post shared with her more than two million followers came without a caption. However, the singer did tag the graphic designer who designed the image. In the picture, Grimes holds a sword while sporting a baby bump flaunting her stomach in a crop top.
 
Grimes has, so far, not commented on the pregnancy rumors. The musician had teased her very first pregnancy on a very similar note. She had shared a post earlier with a semi-translucent belly showing a silhouette of the baby. Elon Musk has also not commented anything on Grimes’ latest post speculating pregnancy. If we talk about their split, the Tesla CEO had confirmed their break-up to Page Six in September 2021. Shedding light on the same, he had said, “We are semi-separated but still love each other, see each other frequently and are on great terms.” He added, “It’s mostly that my work at SpaceX and Tesla requires me to be primarily in Texas or traveling overseas and her work is primarily in LA. She’s staying with me now and Baby X is in the adjacent room.” The former duo was last papped at Met Gala 2021 where Grimes made a solo appearance on the red carpet as Elon joined her later inside the venue.

Social media users rushed to Twitter as soon as Grimes shared her cryptic pregnancy post. One user stated, “Me: i hate celeb gossip why would i care about these people's lives. also me: IS GRIMES PREGNANT AGAIN OR IS SHE FU**IN NOT.” Another user shared, “Grimes pregnant again imagine if it was Jeff Bezos baby.” One posted, “Why did no one tell me grimes was pregnant again”, as another chimed in, “Is grimes pregnant again?? wtf is that insta post i’m scared.”
 
The next one shared, “PLEASE tell me grimes isn’t pregnant again by elon.” One individual asserted, “Grimes posted this to her Instagram today and i wonder if she and Elon are expecting again or is it an old pic.” Meanwhile, one tweeted, “When can we expect baby wingding? I’m so excited!!” as one claimed, “Grimes having Jeff Bezos’ baby.”
