'Grey's Anatomy' Season 16 Episode 4 preview: Negative press might burn the only bridge between Meredith Grey and Miranda Bailey

In a 30-second promo released by the makers, Meredith reads out a news snippet that says, 'Grey-Sloan Hospital's fired surgeon speaks out,' and immediately says, 'Bailey's going to kill me'.

After an eventful third episode, 'Grey's Anatomy' Season 16 is all set for another exciting one. Titled 'It’s Raining Men,' the fourth episode seems to be filled with dramatic and amusing sequences as Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) stirs some more trouble for Miranda Bailey (Chandra Wilson).

In a 30-second promo released by the makers, Meredith reads out a news snippet that says, "Grey-Sloan Hospital's fired surgeon speaks out," and immediately says, "Bailey's going to kill me."

In the second episode, when a patient wished to be treated by none other than Meredith, Bailey had to succumb to getting her on a video call. However, she disconnected the call as soon as the surgery was over. While it may have seemed like it may be the first step towards getting Meredith back, the fourth episode hints at more misunderstandings between the two. Going by the clip, Bailey's reaction to the news doesn't seem to be good. If Meredith causes controversy again, it may totally burn the bridges between them.

The summary of episode four reads, "After Meredith inadvertently stirs up negative press for Grey Sloan, she tries to make things right with her former colleagues, jeopardizing her community service hours. Station 19’s Ben and Vic bring a young woman into the hospital, and Jackson stands up to Koracick when he goes too far with a patient’s family. Meanwhile, Bailey receives unexpected news; and Owen finds himself at Pac-Gen North, which Alex sees as a recruiting opportunity on 'Grey’s Anatomy,' Thursday, October 17th on ABC."

It is yet to be how Meredith sets things right. Moreover, there's more to look forward to in the patients' lives at Grey-Sloan and there's a hint that Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd) might go to Pac-Gen North. It only means things are not getting better between Owen and Tom Koracick (Greg Germann) anytime soon.

The fourth episode will air on ABC on Thursday, October 17 at 8 pm EST.
