As fans wait for the third episode of 'Grey's Anatomy', the makers dropped a sneak peek on Twitter and it teases a 'Charmed' reunion. Alyssa Milano and Holly Marie Combs face a sisterly crisis on the medical drama as they come to PacNorth where Richard Webber (James Pickens, Jr.) meets them. The two come together to see their sister named Heather, a character yet to be revealed on the show.

The description for the 'Cast From The Past' special read, "A patient at the hospital is brain dead after falling into a construction site, and her two sisters must decide whether or not to keep her alive." When Combs meets Milano, she tells her: "She fell into a construction site. You know Heather. She’s always on her phone." One fan wrote how all the sisters' names begin with H, the last name begins with P and listed it as: "Heather Peterson, Haylee Peterson, Heidi Peterson."

No sooner was the clip posted on Twitter, fans couldn't help but confess how they were 'charmed'! "That 'we’re sisters' sounded awfully familiar," one fan wrote, and another tweeted, "So are they going to end up at Grey-Sloan?? Because Webber & Karev don't work at Grey-Sloan anymore. I wanted to see them interact with Bailey." Moreover, one user wrote how excited he was to see the crossover between two shows. "I can’t tell you how excited I am for this. It’s my 2 favorite shows combining and I’m here for it."

Combs and Milano are known for their roles as witch sisters Piper and Phoebe in the WB series 'Charmed', which ran between 1998 and 2006. Interestingly, the two also reunited with 'Grey’s Anatomy' executive producers Krista Vernoff and Andy Reaser, who earlier wrote for 'Charmed'. Expressing her delight, Combs shared a black-and-white picture of the 'Charmed' alums on set and captioned it, "Reunited. And we couldn’t be happier."

The 'Charmed' stars came together for another reunion in the past when Combs posted a picture with co-stars Brian Krause (who played her on-screen husband Leo Wyatt) and Drew Fuller (who was their son, Chris).

Moreover, this isn't the only crossover to be excited about! Throughout the week of October 7, 2019, actors from other shows including 'House', 'Girlfriends' and 'Cheers' will reunite as different characters on new shows. Milano and Combs will be seen in the third episode of 'Grey's Anatomy' titled 'Reunited', which airs on Thursday, October 10 at 8 pm EST on ABC.
