Previously, the size 8 grandma disclosed her workout routine and encouraged people to contact her for advice. Maxwell explained, "Health and fitness isn't just a look. It's a feeling… and there's no better feeling than having a healthy strong body. The thing is, no one else can actually do the work for you. Even if you paid them to work out for you."
On another occasion, Maxwell demonstrated a simple six-step method, claiming that anyone can "reverse the ageing process." Maxwell stated, "I definitely think women come into their own as we become older – more confident and sexy, especially if we are fit and healthy. We can actually reverse the ageing process through clean eating plus effective exercise. Build the muscle and burn the fat and having a healthy lean body is up to us."
"There are two ways of ageing – one is chronological age which is from your birth date until now. And the other is biological age, which is more exciting! We can create a younger body – become leaner, stronger, healthier. This makes us more confident and sexy," Maxwell concluded.
Maxwell's slim figure also helps her maintain her confidence in her love life, as she recently revealed dating a younger man. "The man I'm seeing is younger than me but I never think about that. Confidence is a win for me," she confessed. "If a man is brave enough to walk straight up to me and stare me in the eyes and ask me out, he's a pretty brave man. These days men are quite shy about approaching women as everything seems to be done online. Anyone can be romantic online but there’s nothing like the real thing," Maxwell said.
How does Lesley Maxwell stay this fit?
Maxwell works as a full-time personal trainer. She has almost 30 local and national bikini competition titles under her belt, winning her first show at the age of 49. Her loyal fans even swear by her health tips. Some of Maxwell's tips include no second helpings: "There's no need to eat everything offered to you. If you've finished your meal and [are] offered more food, simply wait a minute. The feeling of overeating usually goes away."
The 'hot' grandma began her body transformation journey 15 years ago after using fitness to cope with her divorce. She often gets approached by younger men but believes age is just a number, saying that all her partners have been younger than her - including her ex-husband, who she had a 13-year age gap with.
