Lil Nas X's saucy Grammys performance included 'crotch grabs' and a 'microphone dingle'

You'd think the Grammys is PG 13 but clearly, Lil Nas didn't get the memo

On the most awaited award show of the year, the legendary American rapper, Lil Nas X put up a stellar performance on the 2022 Grammys. Trust this young man to always steal the show, literally! 

He lit the stage on fire with his rather edgy performance to his track, 'Montero'. What's more, the singer also shared the stage with fellow rapper, Jack Harlow, on their hit duet track, 'Industry Baby'. Not to forget, the rapper's wardrobe courtesy was highly inspired by the late legend of music, Michael Jackson. The rapper has scored five nominations this year. He has been nominated for Album of the Year (for Montero) and Record of the Year ( for “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)”). The latter song is also up for Best Music Video and best melodic rap performance.

He began his performance in a sequinned and starry caped outfit before graduating to the other splendid looks he pulled off during the act. The talking point of the performance was not only his outfit but also his reference to the controversy surrounding the music video for his much talked-about single "Montero (Call Me by Your Name)." In a video montage, tweets and news articles flashed onscreen from those who criticized the song and video, voices of various newscasters could also be heard panning "Montero" for its risqué religious and sexual themes.

Midway through the act, the rapper executed an X-rated stunt, transforming his microphone into his penis. He placed the microphone near his crotch and swung it like his genitalia. This act certainly did not escape the eyes of social media. "Lil nas x killed it too, w0w, also microphone dingle???" stated one.
