Grammys 2020: Billie Eilish and Finneas' touching story of 'making music in their bedroom' melts fans' hearts

At the 62nd Grammy Awards, Billie Eilish took home the award for her song 'Bad Guy' in one of the most important categories — Song of The Year

At the 62nd Grammy Awards, Billie Eilish took home the award for her song 'Bad Guy' in one of the most important categories — Song of The Year. As soon as she clinched the awards, fans took to Twitter to express their happiness. 

"Literally crying. I wanted her to win so bad. I’m so happy for her," one fan wrote and another said, "Billie is f**king iconic idgaf. She’s definitely gonna be a legend." Another fan marveled at how her icon was the same age as her. "@billieeilish you are an icon and you’re the same age as me. Wow," one tweet read.

Many viewers were inspired by Finneas' revelation about how they went from making music in a bedroom to winning the Grammy award!

"Billie Eilish's brother saying that they make their music in a bedroom just makes me think about Alabama families. #RollTide #Grammys2020," one posted. Another said, "From the bedroom to the Grammys #BillieEilish and her brother being legends  #Grammys2020."

One fan said, "I am proud of Billie Eilish and her brother Finneas. They are talented, humble, relatable, and flawed. Now they are Grammy winners as well." One tweet read: "'This is for all the kids making music in their bedroom. You’re gonna won one of these' - @finneas."

"Billie Eilish said there were so many other songs that deserved that award...she ain't never lied," one tweet read.

 Another said, "Congrats! I'm so happy that you won such an incredible award for your amazing music and artistry, very well deserved~Please, keep what you're doing in staying true to yourselves and message. you both inspire so many."

A few music lovers were, however, not so happy to see her win though. "Billie Eilish is the definition of being OVERRATED and MUSIC INDUSTRY PLANT! IDC about what yall say! #Grammys2020 more like teen choice awards," one tweet read.

Another said, "Not a fan of Billie Eilish's music but good lord she sounded really really good #Grammys2020."

Hosted by Alicia Keys for the second year, the star-studded ceremony is being held at The Staples Center in Los Angeles and can be watched live on CBS.
