With tour dates setting off early next year, we have our eyes peeled to witness signs of a fresh black metal wave begin to creep in. Burning up new embers on stage, Gost will be highlighting his new full-release album, 'Valediction', which came out this past October via Century Media Records.

"We are extremely excited to share 'Valediction' with a full performance of the album mixed with some older favorites on our upcoming headlining tour," stated Gost. "We will have a new stage show with us that will burn your eyes out of your skull as well!"

Gost will be mirrored by the likes of Svart Crown, with a polishing display of their upcoming new studio album. "Expect nothing, but a really bleak immersive live set with brand new songs and new live set-up," Svart Crown said.

Century Media Records welcomed Gost into their midst, the synthwave pioneer embodies the character of Baalberith -- a major demon, once a prince in the angelic order of Cherubim, familiar with temptations of blasphemy -- on his electric solo project.

A fascination with the occult and '80s slasher films, Gost has put his works of synthetic chemistry of black metal to the test, touching on the needs of reaching for the darker places in the genre. Hitting on the nerve of the mysterious, the effects are penned and burned betwixt bass and distortion.

Gost played in metal bands as a teenager but drifted towards electronic music, now deemed as the foundation of his powerful synthwave/retrowave sound. A haunting atmosphere of sound and influences have garnered quick attention from the rock and metal communities worldwide.

Apart from European/Northern American tours, Gost has performed with the likes of Black Dahlia Murder, Power Trip, Khemmis, Havok, Skeletal Remains, Carpenter Brut and Pallbearer. Earlier this year, Gost announced the invocation of Carreau (a prince of powers) who joined Baalberith live on stage.

For the recording, mix and mastering of the new opus, 'Valediction', Gost teamed up with Jaime Gomez Arellano who worked with the likes of Paradise Lost, Solstafir, Priomordial, Myrkur and many more.

How these effects have molded in the evolution of the new album is a further headbanging mystery and here's to anticipating a good performance in the upcoming tour.
