'Gorilla Glue Girl' seeks help again, hair falls out in clumps after dyeing it brown
The sensational 'Gorilla Glue Girl' is reportedly having more hair trouble, allegedly losing locks in clumps after applying a bunch of chemicals to change her hair color. The 40-year-old social media star, whose real name is Tessica Brown, first grabbed headlines after she used Gorilla Glue adhesive instead of her regular hairspray and couldn't wash it out.
It was revealed in her latest TikTok post that her hair once again fell out after she attempted to color it. MEAWW previously reported how Brown got 17 marriage proposals and had invited Porsha Williams to her wedding. We also reported on her line of merchandise, named 'Bonded for life,' after she went viral.

Addressing her latest fashion disaster on TikTok, Brown said, "I thought my hair was strong enough for chemicals 😭#tessicabrown#mahair #helpmyhairplease #fyp #imoverit." Meanwhile, a source told OK! Magazine about the debacle, "She dyed it 2 days ago thinking it was healthy enough since she hasn’t done anything to it since glue got removed. She put Revlon color from the box you buy at the market and her head started burning bad so she got in the shower and washed it out and her hair was coming out in chunks."
The insider revealed that Brown was lucky because Jacques Abrahamian of La FUe hair clinic had agreed to do stem cell therapy and PRP to help the growth and stop the shedding. MEAWW previously reported how Dr. Michael Obeng had performed surgery on the TikTok star earlier this year and "removed all of the Gorilla Glue out of her hair," her manager, Gina Rodriguez told ET. "She is currently resting and healing from the ordeal," Rodriguez told the outlet at the time. "As you can imagine, Tessica's scalp is extremely sensitive right now and will need some time to recover."
Brown shot to prominence after she revealed that she had used the industry-grade adhesive on her scalp as she was in a rush and running out of her usual hairspray. She was shocked when she realized the glue wouldn't wash out and hardened onto her scalp instead. She tried everything from oils to rubbing alcohol to try to get the glue off her head and was ultimately rescued by Obeng, who performed the $12,500 procedure for free.
Following the successful hair rescue surgery, Brown set her sights on Hollywood and even secured a full-time agent. She signed up with Gitoni, an agency that represents celebrities including Blac Chyna, Lamar Odom, and Tommy Lee, and provides product placement, marketing, celebrity management, and casting for scripted and reality television, according to the New York Post.
In June, Brown launched 'Forever Hair' — a hair care line. The products from the range include a $14 “Forever Hold” gel, which is designed to keep hair held firm minus the sticky side effects. Earlier this month, the 40-year-old star dropped a single titled "Ma Hair", for which she reportedly wrote the rap lyrics herself and worked with independent music producer Phil Valley to create the track. Brown and Valley were hoping to have Nicki Minaj featured on the track, but the 10-time Grammy nominee didn’t return their calls, according to TMZ.
