Golfer Paige Spiranac revealed that a fraudster created an OnlyFans account in her name and added fake nude images to the bogus page. On Wednesday, June 15, the 29-year-old spoke about the fake account in a Twitter exchange with a fan. A phony Twitter account under her name had liked a critical comment posted about her, which read: "You would get more respect if you buttoned the top button."

The social media star's revelation comes just days after she stated that joining OnlyFans would be a "career killer" and wasn't in her growth strategy. Despite having over three million Instagram followers, Spiranac has faced backlash for her gorgeous golf images and has allegedly lost sponsorship arrangements owing to her clothing choices. While some of her seductive photos are often deemed offensive by conservative golf fans, Spiranac insists she isn't "ashamed." The Golfer shared a screengrab of the post and penned: "The audacity". A fan tweeted on the thread: "Maybe fake Paige will actually have the audacity to start an OF!" The star replied, "Someone did start one under my name with fake nude pictures!"

Another user replied to her post and wrote, "No one could ever replace you so why even try." "Ridiculous," a user tweeted.

Talking about OF on her podcast 'Playing A Round', Paige had stated: "When you say OnlyFans, there is this stigma around it. I don’t judge any woman who decides to do OnlyFans, love yourself, do what makes you happy – but for me, it’s just not in my road when it comes to my business plan. With being in such a conservative industry like golf, that would be a career killer for me. Even what I do, so many doors have been shut because they don’t like the fact that I just show cleavage."

The former golfer, who competed professionally for San Diego State University from December 2015 to December 2016, added: "I think that [criticism] is not okay, I don’t agree with it, I think you can be respected and be sexy, and I really try to push that. But [OnlyFans] would be, I think, a step too far where I’d probably lose sponsors, doors would be closed, and that would be my only source of revenue."

She further stated: "My parents see all of my content, all of my friends and family see all of my content, it’s nothing that I’m ashamed of or scared of."

"I always try to think ahead and how each decision is going to affect my future and my plans and that’s kind of the thought process that goes around with all of my content and the decision to not do OnlyFans," she added.
