GoFundMe is a great initiative that has made various causes get noticed and funded. A lot of people have got the help they need, including con artists. But can you believe that a campaign was started to kick someone out of New York? Yes! NYC residents have supposedly banded together to get the female rapper, Asian Doll, to go back to her hometown in Texas and leave NYC for good, using the money from a GoFundMe campaign.

The goal of the fundraising effort, which began on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, is apparent from the start: "Help Asian Doll Get Back to Texas." According to the organizer, the fundraising drive was started in response to people's concerns over Asian Doll’s effect on music in the city.  A statement on the page said, "The entire NYC is highly concerned that Asian Doll may be stranded in New York," it added, "We have all came together to help Sandy find her way out of the Bikini Bottom Bronx Hopping and back to Texas where she came from."

The organizer went on to say, "This individual has been mimicking, damaging and degrading our rap and drill culture and we demand an end to all of this ridiculousness. ITS TIME TO GO HOME SANDY!!!!!!" The goal of the campaign is to raise $10,000, but so far it has received $10 from just two donors. "Put her on the next Plane out of NYC,” one of the supporters, ‘American Airlines’ commented on the website which has been currently removed.

Many people started to comment about this surprising news on Twitter. One person wrote, “An individual not as strong minded or strong willed as Asian Doll would sadly succumb to all the body shaming, online bullying, and harassment. Same ones laughing, retweeting, sharing, and facilitating this foolishness will be the FIRST ones giving empty thoughts and prayers😒” while one person straight up wrote, “ASIAN DOLL GO HOME DAMN” Another person stated, “starting a GoFundMe to help Asian Doll get out of NY … meanwhile she just copped a 80k chain and picked it up in ATLANTA today, oh okay y’all weirdos fr..  POST THAT..”

Another person wrote, “If some y’all mfs don’t know Asian Doll use to live in NY for a period of time during her music career. Like whether y’all like what Asian Doll have going on In NY or not. Can y’all please let her live. 🙄🤬” while another said, “Everyone laughs at Asian doll, and she’s so talented. She receives more hate than love / I think she needs to step away from the internet for a few and come back revamped / more disciplined 😩” Another wrote, “Why do everyone hate Asian doll so much she don't do nun but be a dumbass.” Surprisingly, amid all the hate, there are still people to support her.
