'GMA' co-host TJ Holmes caught playfully joking about Amy Robach's 'purity' on show
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: The ABC co-hosts TJ Holmes and Amy Robach are allegedly in a romantic relationship despite being legally married to other individuals, according to pictures and videos that were posted online earlier this week, as per Page Six. Viewers were fully ignorant of the alleged on-air flirting between 'What You Need To Know' co-anchors, prior to their alleged affair being made public.
And now in a recently discovered video from May, the 'GMA 3' anchor compliments his coworker on how "great" her white dress looked on that particular day. However, Robach, 49, says, “It does look a little bit like a wedding dress, but you know what? White is good all year round." When his co-anchor throws a piece of paper in his direction, Holmes, 45, jokes, "It is and, look, if anybody speaks purity on this set, it's this one," as reported by Page Six.

“They have a very cozy relationship on air, but that is what is expected. But they were very careful behind the scenes to keep their affair secret,” a 'GMA3' staffer previously told Page Six. Holmes may be seen allegedly grabbing Robach's butt in one of the videos that were made public online during a getaway the two of them went to a home in upstate New York, as per the New York Post. However, sources close to the new couple informed us that Holmes and Robach were "two consenting adults," and as such, neither of them felt "ashamed" of their connection.
An insider earlier stated the 'GMA3' co-anchors allegedly separated their spouses in August, but according to the speculations, it was also told their affair began in March. Robach married actor Andrew Shue in 2010, the same year as Holmes married his wife, Marilee Fiebig. Insiders also hinted at the existence of additional problems in each couple's marriages that contributed to the separations. On Friday's episode of 'GMA 3', Holmes and Robach joked that they had a "great week" before going back on the air this week as if they weren't the talk of the town, as per the news outlet.
TJ Holmes' wife was "blindsided" by his alleged affair with his co-anchor Amy Robach, Page Six previously reported. According to the staffer, Holmes and his wife, Marilee Fiebig, had been separated for some months but were attempting to "work things out" when word of his romance with Robach surfaced. “She’s devastated. She had no idea,” the source said as per reports. “They haven’t been together in [a while], but they were trying to work it out." “They were just together for T.J.’s birthday,” which is August 19, as per reports.
Furthermore, an ABC official later verified to Page Six that no disciplinary action will be taken against the co-anchors. “All they care about is the ratings,” the source stated. “This is ratings gold. That’s why [ABC News President] Kim [Goodwin] wanted them on the show today.”
