In January, Roberts made an exciting announcement on the show, revealing her plans to marry her partner, Laign, in 2023. Expressing her hesitation and excitement, Roberts shared, "I'm hesitating because I haven't said it out loud yet. I'm saying yes to marriage. We're getting married this year." The couple previously discussed marriage but had put their plans on hold due to Laign's illness. Roberts emphasized that this decision symbolized embracing the next chapter of their lives together. The couple have been a source of support for each other, having both faced battles with breast cancer. They first met in 2015 and chose to keep their relationship private until they went public in 2013.
