'I have always cheered for him': Gisele Bundchen denies asking ex Tom Brady to choose between her and NFL
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Gisele Bundchen, a supermodel, has finally spoken out about her divorce from Tom Brady, a famous NFL player. She has called the breakup the "death of her dream" and denied claims that she gave the football player an ultimatum forcing him to pick their love over his career.
Bundchen, 42, described the rumors surrounding her separation from Brady, 45, as "extremely hurtful" and insisted that she has only ever "wanted all his goals to come true" in an interview with Vanity Fair. The report was accompanied a breathtaking cover photo for the magazine's April issue.

'I have always cheered for him'
"Listen, I have always cheered for him, and I will continue forever," she said about the NFL star. Bundchen added, "If there’s one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it’s him, believe me. I want him to achieve and to conquer. I want all his dreams to come true. That’s what I want, really, from the bottom of my heart."
Although Bundchen vehemently denied that her divorce had anything to do with Brady's decision to reverse his NFL retirement, she added that the split had been "like a death and a rebirth." Bundchen claimed that the couple separation was much more innocent, saying that they simply "grew apart" and realized they wanted "different things."
Did Gisele Bundchen give Tom Brady an ultimatum?
On October 28, 2022, Brady and Bundchen officially announced the end of their marriage in a heartfelt statement posted on social media. The couple announced their separation after weeks of speculation that their marriage was in trouble. Many speculations suggested that the pair's conflict was brought on by the NFL player's unexpected decision to forego his planned retirement and play another season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
However, the supermodel vehemently refuted any claims that she is "against football," stating that she "liked" seeing her ex-husband play. Her fashion career has experienced a significant upswing since her split from Brady. Although she told Elle magazine in September 2022 that she "would prefer [Brady] to be more present," the model is sure that her ex's career had nothing to do with the breakdown of their marriage and that she "tried everything she could" to make their "fairytale" union work.
She even hinted that she did give Brady spiritual support in the form of homeopathic floral paths, an onyx protection stone, and a statue of Hindu deity Ganesha in response to his earlier claims that she gave him a boot on the football field with some "witchy" rituals, including building altars for him. Bundchen claimed to have stopped calling herself a "witch," saying that she merely "loves astrology, loves crystals... and believes in the power of nature."
