Former NFL player Zac Stacy sentenced to 6 months in jail for brutally attacking ex-girlfriend Kristin Evans
ORANGE COUNTY, FLORIDA: Zac Stacy, a former NFL running back who was recently given a six-month jail sentence in connection with the attacks on his ex-girlfriend, Kristin Evans in 2021, will serve further time behind bars. The decision was reached in a courtroom on Monday, February 27 night, by an Orange County, Florida, judge and the 31-year-old was also given a one-year probationary period.
Stacy, 31, entered a guilty plea to two counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief earlier this month; as part of the deal, the three charges of domestic violence battery were dismissed, as reported by MNS.

What was the first incident Zac Stacy was involved in?
TMZ Sports reported in mid-August 2021 when he allegedly lost his cool over rent money, Stacy was first accused of becoming aggressive with Kristin Evans, the mother of his child.
That incident occurred months before another, which was shown on film as Stacy was seen abusing Evans at a Florida residence while their infant boy, who was then five months old, was present. Evans stated that the altercation began "because he wanted the money he gave me for our rent back."
According to court documents, Evans said Stacy "physically assaulted me several times because he wanted the rent money he gave me back." She also gave TMZ Sports pictures of the wounds she claims to have received in the alleged attack, which reveals significant body bruises and cuts.
Evans displayed photos of large cuts and bruises on his arms and legs, noting that Stacy "punched my legs, slapped me, picked me up by my arms, and threw me into my window, which broke." Evans stated that she had to pull the glass from her feet from breaking the window.
What was the second incident Stacy was involved in?
Three months later, in mid-November, while their infant son sat a few feet away, Stacy got into another altercation and was seen on camera striking Evans in the head and throwing her into a television.

Evans also disclosed to WESH-TV that Stacy had been physically abusing her for several months. She said, "He has bullied me for so long that, at one point, I believed it was my fault. It's disturbing and disgusting to see things people have said online about what did I do. I did nothing. I never did anything to deserve something like this – no one could do anything to deserve something like this." She continued, "The physical abuse began in May. I didn't report it. I was pregnant at the time. I wanted my son's dad to be there for me and for the birth of his first child. So I forgave him."
After turning herself in to police in Orlando following the attack in November, Stacy was first charged with aggravated violence and criminal mischief.
Stacy faced numerous charges in connection with the two instances, but earlier this month he made agreements with the prosecution, pleading guilty to one count of misdemeanor domestic violence battery and two counts of misdemeanor criminal mischief.
Whether Stacy, who was selected by the then-St. Louis Rams in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft, would start serving his jail time is not yet known.
