'Ghost Adventures': Zak and crew discover the chamber to summon the devil during their visit to Ted Bundy's ritual house

The crew decides to visit the house where serial killer Ted Bundy reportedly killed one of his victims, Debra Kent
PUBLISHED OCT 27, 2019

Ted Bundy became known as the notorious serial killer after it was reported that he killed nearly 30 women in the 1970s.

In this week's episode, Zak Bagans, along with his crew members, Aaron Goodwin, Billy Tolley, and Jay Wesley decide to visit the house in Bountiful, Utah, where locals believe that Ted brought one of his victims, Debra Kent, and killed her.

Debra went missing from the parking lot of her school and this house happens to be nearby from the place she was abducted. Locals have reported the place being haunted by many demonic entities, as well as other spirits.

Even previous residents of the house have reported feeling the presence of something unusual and have encountered events that have left them questioning if a demonic presence exits in the house.

The house was left abandoned after a gas chamber exploded there. However, that has still not reduced the instances that have occurred in the place. When the crew first visits the house, they see something unusual. A little boy throws a big log near the entrance of the house.

At first, the crew believes that the log is covered in water but it wasn't until later that they found that it was drenched in urine.

The boy happened to be the neighbor's kid and when Zak decides to go interact with them, he hears something unusual that he has never heard from anyone before.

The boy tells Zak that he was leaving the log for one of the people who stayed there. He tries to warn the crew about the dangers of going inside.

"They want to kill people," he says. "It is dangerous to go inside". The toddle also points out that there are nearly 10 or more spirits that exist inside the house.

The crew also talks to one of the people who had stayed in the house. Peter Kingston, who was a resident of the house, recalls that the house gave his family an uneasy feeling while also recounting instances where he found various satanic symbols engraved on the wall.

He recalls seeing "666", which is often known as the devil's number apart from satanic symbols and others.

Meanwhile, another resident, Vincent, recalls feeling the presence of something unusual and speaks about how he would find marks on his body or feel someone pushing him down the stairs.

But the most shocking thing about the house was the satanic symbol that was found in one of the rooms.

Vincent reveals that quite often people who believed in black magic or demons would come to the house and try to perform the rituals. They often found traces of a ritual being formed, an Ouija board and even dead animals and birds whose flesh were left open.

Zak identified that room as the "chamber to summon the devil". In the center of the room was a symbol that was often used to call the devil while the surrounding walls had symbols that were associated with various devils.

This included the god of chaos, Anubis, who is often referred to as the god of mummification, and many others.

"This house is a portal to hell. That circle on the floor represents calling specific demons by those exact symbols," Zak says of the room.

When the crew tried communicating with what dwelt inside the house, they often hear sounds that seemed to be screams or a satanic ritual being performed constantly.

The sound seemed to hint that some people were chanting a specific phrase and Billy thought that it could be the ritual performed by cults or others.

"I have never heard anything like this. This is concrete evidence that there is a portal to another dimension in the house," Zak says.

The crew then decides to spend the night at the house but it seems like a difficult task as there is no light in the house.

All the windows in the house are boarded up which does not allow any light to pass through. At the same time, there is no electricity in the house and the crew had to depend on their flashlights.

What surprised them the most was how the barometer shot up when it was placed in the center of the demonic symbol. The crew thought it was unusual as the house did not have any form of electricity or source of energy.

Throughout their investigation, there are instances when the crew hear the voice of what could be the people who stayed or were summoned into the house.

First, they hear the voice of a girl who said, "I'll tell you" when the crew asks a question about anyone being in the house.

The crew also hear voices of men who often said "come" or "come in" when the crew stood near the demonic symbol. Billy, Zak, and Aaron also feel uneasy while they were in the house.

During one of the instances where Zak stood near the demonic symbol, he felt dizzy and experienced loss of breath.

He tried to gain control of his senses by sitting down. Aaron, on the other hand, felt like someone kept a hand on his shoulder. But the pain he felt during that was unlike others. He felt like a needle poking through him which made him storm out of the house.

Billy also felt the presence of something when the crew was standing near the symbol. He felt as if someone was trying to guide him upstairs. He complained about blacking out and felt it would be better if he just got out of the house.

The crew seems to agree and conclude that the house was a place that was filled with negative and probably demonic energy. They performed a cleansing ritual as they left the house.

While they did not get the answer about Ted Bundy, the crew state that there was a possibility that the house played an important role in his life as during his trials and interviews Ted has often spoken about being controlled by the devil and sometimes referring to himself as the Devil.

While the crew has left the place with haunted memories, the house remains. 'Ghost Adventures' airs on Saturdays at 9 pm on Travel Channel.
