In 2017, Garbine Muguruza secured the number one spot and four years later in 2021, she has now been declared a tennis pro. The Spanish tennis player's heart was stolen by Arthur Borges, 38, who resides in New York City. Born on June 30, Borges is directly responsible for Tom Ford's 'Made to Measure' business in North America.
Arthur Borges was married to a renowned Finnish figure skater called Kiira Korpi. 11 years later, they called it quits on rather good terms. The two ended their marriage via an Instagram post. It was captioned, "Our journey together as a couple has come to an end. Eleven wonderful years together has taught us a lot. We have enjoyed our life together and we’re grateful for our beautiful friendship which we will certainly continue to cherish.
We love and appreciate each other deeply and wish well for each other. This is also difficult and sad and we appreciate that our privacy will be respected. ❤️- Arthur & Kiira". Given the timeline, it is obvious that Borges has started dating Muguruza only very recently.
Borges and ex-wife Korpi started dating a decade ago in 2010 and got engaged in mid 2017. They entered into matrimony soon after with a fairytale wedding that was held in Villa del Balbianello in Italy. This destination wedding took place on the shores of Lake Como. The separation was announced in June 2021.
Three months after his ex-wife announced the separation, Borges deleted most of his posts on Instagram, resulting in an almost empty feed. He joined Muguruza at the Chicago Fall Tennis Classic from September 27th up till October 3rd. Until now, there has been no comment from the two-time champion Garbine Muguruza about their relationship but their Instagram feeds give fans hope that the romance is going strong.
