Is Britney Spears's dad running her Instagram account? Repeated selfies has worried fans asking 'where is she?'
After the long time pop sensation posted what looks like repeated selfies on her Instagram, fans are flooding the comments section underneath writing "Hi Britney's dad." Convinced that Britney herself wouldn't have repeated the same selfies in slightly different postures, Britney Army is afraid "something definitely is wrong!" as the star's suspicious posts graced her social media on the day of her official July 22 court hearing for the conservatorship battle with her dad, Jamie Spears.
The ongoing #FreeBritney movement has exposed the alleged harrowing ordeal the singer has been going through for over a decade now, where her father exercises full legal control over her life, owing to past breakdowns. MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) has already reported the details of this conservatorship enjoyed by her father, and after news of its unfair dynamics broke on the internet, a judge finally took up the matter for investigation, the court hearing for which was this July 22.
Britney's social media has been a whirlpool of support and love from her fans who keep asking her to wear certain colors on the Instagram posts if she wants to signal help and strangely enough, Britney has been adhering to the fan-requested guidelines. It has happened thrice so far. So when the singer decided to take time off the account on such an important day, and then returned much later with two very odd posts, fans got exceedingly worried.
The first post was about the 'third eye' and finding 'light and strength' within once it is opened. "This is what happens when your third eye opens.... you connect to a higher source of light and energy!!!!" Britney wrote alongside a very cryptic and mystic blue Instagram photo, where fans rushed to comment, "WE ARE HERE FOR YOU BRITNEY WE LOVE YOU WE HAVE PROTESTERS OUTSIDE WE KNOW WHAT'S HAPPENING." Sure enough an Instagram account called @freebritneyla has been posting relentlessly about the protests that happened outside the court hearing today.
Others wrote, "Someone step in already" and some were quick enough to point out, "So she can’t be online with a judge but she can upload a pic on insta? This is so fishy." But Britney's next post within the span of yet another hour has left fans more rattled than ever. The photo looks like one of the selfies taken long ago and follows a string of similar photos that the account has shared in the recent past. Though the caption is just a couple of flowers, the photo, eerily similar to three others Britney has posted before, has fans convinced it's her father is running the account, sharing content to show everything is fine.
"Hi Britney's dad" is a comment common under most of her posts. Others pointed out: "Posting the same pictures again and again... something definitely is wrong!" Another screamed: "THESE ARE NOT NEW PHOTOS. WHERE IS BRITNEY??" Worried about the star's situation, fans are also demanding a live stream to know she is okay. A very worried fan also quipped: "Same pic as yesterday.. does child services exist for adults?" Regardless, Britney's fans would like to know "we are still fighting for you brit." The results of her conservatorship hearing aren't public yet.
