Are we finally about to get the fabled third album and follow-up to 2016's 'Blonde' from Frank Ocean?

Ocean has released acoustic versions of his two tracks, 'Dear April' and the partially Spanish 'Cayendo', and they sound like everything we've come to expect from the soulful singer. They're smooth, sultry, and have lyrics that speak to a deeper level of emotion.

Both of these tracks were previewed last October at a PrEP+ nightclub event in New York, but now Ocean has given fans a gift by making both available online to stream. And as you listen to these two tracks you really get to sink into the heartbreaking feelings being expressed in each — 'Cayendo' seems to allude to infidelity and the realization that nothing in the relationship will ever be the same again, while 'Dear April' seems to echo the final deep breath one takes before accepting something has come to an end.

Prior to these tracks, Ocean dropped 'DHL' and 'In My Room' last year, and 'Moon River' the year before that. And yet, he hasn't revealed if these are just his usual sporadic releases or a precursor to an album coming soon.

The singer has teased fans for years now, dropping a track or two here and there that keeps the interest in his stunning brand of soulful music alive, never revealing any more details of an upcoming project. And while most might get frustrated and walk away after waiting for four years, Ocean's fans are still here, patiently waiting.

And the reason for that is simple, really. Ocean's music creates a vibe, almost like a safe space that allows you to feel like you're floating effortlessly as you process some of the most painful and often confusing of emotions. His music might seem similar to a lot of indie-soul artists, but he actually serves as one of the top musical inspirations for most of them. Ocean essentially created his own brand of soul, and it's one that allows smooth, easy listening to blend effortlessly with the pain of healing. Put simply, it just makes you feel really, really good.

Both the latest tracks were revealed to be released on 12-inch vinyl singles that could be preordered from Ocean's official site, with each being accompanied by a remixed version on the B-side. Electronic duo Justice took on 'Dear April' and DJ Sango remixed 'Cayendo.'
