Selena Gomez's 'ex-BFF' Francia Raisa steers clear of any conversation about the singer
STUDIO CITY, CALIFORNIA: Francia Raisa seems to be avoiding the whole topic of former best friend Selena Gomez while seemingly throwing shade at her, months after the latter praised her. Several inquiries about the state of her relationship with the 30-year-old multihyphenate were directed at the 34-year-old actress on Sunday, April 30, while she was walking her dog in Studio City.
Raisa kept mum and seemed like she was putting in extra effort to not mention Gomez's name. She was asked if things were okay between them as they had both unfollowed each other.

'I'm here with my dog'
When the questions continued, Raisa said, "Sunday is so fun, it's a day of rest. I am Francia, and I'm here with my dog.” Further questions were met with, "It's a fantastic day; the weather is so lovely right now. Last week I was in the snow, and now it's LA weather."
'No more'
Despite not being friends with Gomez, Raisa, when asked about organ donation, replied, "I would definitely talk to someone about organ donation and the procedure and whatnot again. I've done it a few times, but I clearly don't advocate it."
She added, "You know the other day at the movies I was with my friend Lily and someone came up to me and said, 'Hey my friend is the one that you spoke to a few years back about the kidney donation and she's really grateful.'" She claimed that when she asked the person's friend how she was doing, she responded, "Great."
Back in March, Gomez praised Raisa, her "best friend," for giving her a kidney that saved her life in 2017. They had a tiff following Gomez's statement later that Taylor Swift was her "only friend in the industry."
On a recent episode of the Apple TV+ series, 'My Mind & Me', Gomez praised Raisa, in what seemed like things were OK between the two. In 2017, Gomez shared an Instagram picture after the procedure, showing her and Raisa lying in adjacent beds holding hands, as they smile at each other.
Francia met Gomez for the first time in 2007 when they were both teenagers, and they immediately bonded. The former offered one of her kidneys to Gomez after the 'Rare' singer was diagnosed with lupus.
